The Brevins Guest House (Adults Only)

This was an excellent place to stay while in Fort William! The owners are extremely welcoming and accommodating -- they ask you to fill out a form for breakfast but I forgot and they still offered me a hot meal the following day! They were also very supportive of my vegan diet and had lots of suggestions for things to do in the local area. They also dried my boots after they got soaked through, and can take on dirty laundry, too. The room was excellent -- there was a shower but no bath, but the bed was easily one of the best mattresses I have ever slept on in a B&B, and the room was well up-kept with plenty of plug sockets and other mod cons. The hotel is excellently situated on Glen Nevis -- it's easy to walk into town (about one mile to the town centre) and is about a 25-30 minute walk from the Ben Nevis Inn and the path up to the top of Ben Nevis. It's also close to the start of the West Highland Way and Great Glen Way. On the whole this was a wonderful place to stay. I would definitely go back again when I am next in the Fort William area!

Very neat and tidy rooms and the host is a lovely couple.. Brenda and Vincent who also prepare a lovely homemade breakfast in the morning. They also have top and nice local recommendations for things you should do. The only thing I would mention is that our rooms were cleaned when we went out without letting us know which I don’t find suitable but rest everything was all well :)

Stayed here after finishing the west highland way. Our room was great! Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very helpful! The walk to town was on the farther side since this is the first house you come to when walking into town, but this wasn’t an issue for us. Would definitely stay again.

An excellent establishment! Vincent and Brenda were so welcoming and friendly. Our room and the whole house were spotlessly clean and looked brand new! Very well stocked too. Huge airy room, very large bathroom. Hot and strong shower! Comfy bed and good quality linens. Free parking, good WiFi, and an absolutely delicious hot hearty breakfast!! 15 minute easy walk or 3 minute drive to grocery store. The place was quiet and peaceful. I’d go back anytime!

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at this wonderful place! The room was spacious, immaculate, and had a super comfortable bed. Every detail was taken care of, making it feel like a home away from home. Breakfast was really tasty - the full English breakfast was delicious, and the buttermilk pancakes were perfect. A huge thank you to Brenda and Vincent for being such amazing hosts. Their warmth and hospitality made our stay extra special. The location is perfect if you're planning to climb Ben Nevis (which we did—such an incredible experience!) or just to explore the charming town. It's only a 15-minute walk to the town center, so everything is easily accessible. We will definitely stay here again. This place is absolutely fantastic!

I am late in sharing my experience but it was the best! We had room #9 which was very clean, comfortable and inviting. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I was feeling ill during this part of our trip and was unable to go to the fairy pools, and they made me feel comfortable and offered tea etc. Walking distance to the city center. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay at this guest house! The rooms were modern, nicely furnished, and very comfortable — especially the bed and pillows, which made for a great night’s sleep. The hosts were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, going out of their way to make us feel welcome. Breakfasts were delicious and a real treat each morning. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay here - we were just passing through and only spent one night here, but everything was great. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Great location as well. A lot of restaurants and bars within 10-15 minute walk.
